Sleep well in a lovely master bedroom at The Hutch, a bed and breakfast in Hillsdale, MI.The Hutch has a king-size bed, and the rest of the family can spread out on the futon (1-2 people) and the love seat bed (great for a child or maybe a teen); there's also an IKEA folding mattress that can be placed on the floor and used for another child.
Inside the apartment, two big bay windows give lovely views overlooking the woods and gardens. Outside, there's a large lawn with a fire ring and firewood in the woods, on the Hutch's side of the property (the west side, closest to the the road). If you want us to build a fire for you, we will.Smoking is not permitted inside; you may smoke on the deck or grounds. Pets are not allowed.
SECONDARY BEDS: Guests love our king-size bed, but the secondary beds might be better for children or teens. We do plan on buying some new furniture, which means we'll be replacing the futon.

As of 2023, we are now 'The Hutch Country Inn' and no longer a Bed & Breakfast. Everything needed for coffee, tea, and all manners of cooking -- spices, coffee, etc. -- is still provided, but s of April 2023, we no longer provide perishable foods.
You can cook to your heart's desire in the fully stocked kitchen and use the new Weber grill on the deck. We profide coffee and tea and everything you need to cook with the exception of perishable food. (As of April 15, 2023, we stopped providing perishable food and in September 2023, we changed our name to 'The Hutch Country Inn.')
The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker; you'll find the cabinets and drawers stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and various handy kitchen tools. You can cook in the fully stocked kitchen at the Hutch, a bed and breakfast in Hillsdale, Michigan.
