King Sized Bed
Sleep well in a lovely master bedroom at The Hutch Country Inn in Hillsdale, Michigan. The Hutch has a king-size bed in the bedroom and a new (2025) couch with a hide-a-bed in the living room.
Inside the apartment, two big bay windows give lovely views overlooking the woods and gardens. Outside, there's a large lawn with a fire ring and firewood in the woods, on the Hutch's side of the property (the west side, closest to the road). If you want us to build a fire for you, we will.Smoking is not permitted inside; you may smoke on the deck or grounds. Pets are not allowed.
SECONDARY BED: In 2025, we purchased a new couch with a hide-a-bed for our living room.
Full Kitchen
The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, and microwave; you'll find the cabinets and drawers stocked with pots, pans, dishes, kitchen tools, etc.
Everything needed for coffee, tea, and all manners of cooking and dining -- spices, coffee, pots, pans, silverware, etc. -- is provided. In short, we aim to provide everything you need for cooking and dining with the sole exception of perishable foods. If we fail to achieve that, please let us know, and we will provide it.
The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee makers; you'll find the cabinets and drawers stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and various handy kitchen tools.

Our family has been staying at the Hutch since 2013 when our older daughters were freshmen at Hillsdale College. Many years, we have stayed multiple times, and the Hutch has truly become our Hillsdale home. Right from the beginning, the Olsons welcomed us warmly. Mornings start off with fresh homemade bread washed down with coffee, tea or orange juice. Delightful! The Hutch is always clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. It’s conveniently nestled in a quiet, wooded area only a short drive from the college and the town of Hillsdale. We were blessed to stay with the Olsons in the Hutch last year and it was a fantastic experience! It's a beautiful little B&B in southern Michigan and conveniently located near the town of Hillsdale. It's complete with a full sized kitchen, walk-in shower, two bay windows, glass French doors, a large deck--even a washer and dryer! The B&B is located on a beautiful 4 acre property with a horse, goats, and chickens down in the barn if you want to go for a visit (our 2 year old love it!).
